Get a one-page digest of each competitor's week

You check competitors only when someone remembers, one app at a time, and miss what worked for them. This recipe pulls each competitor's weekly posts on 6 channels and ranks them by engagement per follower. You get one page per competitor and 3 moves to copy or avoid.

01Yield

What one run makes.

One page per competitor each week

Each run makes one page per competitor with its top 5 posts and follower changes. The page quotes the opening lines of each top video. The digest ends with 3 moves to copy or avoid, and your marketing lead picks which to act on.

02Ingredients

What you bring.

  • The competitors you watch and their public accounts
  • What you sell and the traders you sell to
  • Your content and compliance rules
  • A person who reads the digest each week

03Equipment

What the run uses.

  • A data tool that reads public posts and profiles
  • A transcript tool for video posts
  • An AI model that ranks posts and writes the digest
  • A saved copy of last week's numbers
  • A scheduler that starts the run each week

04Method

Six steps you can follow yourself.

  1. 1
List the competitors and their accounts

Write down the competitors you want to watch and their public accounts on 6 channels. Every weekly run reads this same list.

    • Competitors can be rival brokers, prop firms, trading creators or affiliate sites.
    • Note each one's accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Facebook. Add its LinkedIn company page if it has one.
  2. 2
    Pull posts and follower counts

Once a week, pull every post each competitor published that week. Then pull each account's follower count and compare it with last week's.

    • Record each post's likes, comments, shares and views where the channel shows them.
    • Use one data tool to read all 6 channels. Test it on each channel once before you rely on it.
  3. 3
Rank posts by engagement per follower

Ask the AI model to divide each post's engagement by the follower count of its account. A post on a competitor's small TikTok then ranks fairly against one on its large YouTube channel. Keep the top 5 posts per competitor.

  4. 4
Pull transcripts of the top videos

For each top post that is a video, pull its transcript. The AI model quotes the opening lines, so you see the spoken hook as well as the caption.

  5. 5
    Write the digest

The AI model writes one page per competitor. The digest ends with 3 moves to copy or avoid this week.

    • Each page shows what the competitor posted on each channel and how its follower counts changed. It lists the top 5 posts with their links and quoted opening lines. A short note says what it means for you.
    • Tell the AI model to keep measured numbers apart from its guesses. It must never suggest profit claims or trade calls.
  6. 6
Check the digest and pick the moves

A person reads the digest and checks each quote against its linked post. Then they pick which of the 3 moves to act on.

    • The digest posts nothing. Anything you make from it is a new draft in your own words. That draft waits for approval like every other post.
