Give every new trader a personal first step
People buy your course, community or challenge, then stall and leave before it helps them. This recipe asks each one what they want and gives them one first step. You see who has stalled while there is still time to help.
01Yield
What one run makes.
Each new customer gets a personal welcome and one first step with a date. Anyone who stalls gets a check-in on day 7. Your AI chat drafts each message, and a person reads and sends it.
02Ingredients
What you bring.
- Your definition of a real start, with a deadline
- Up to 5 questions for each new customer
- A short summary of your offer and where to start
- The usual blockers, such as a login that fails
- A person who sends the messages
03Equipment
What the run uses.
- An intake form or a first message
- A tracker for answers, steps and dates
- Your email or community tool
- Your AI chat
04Method
Seven steps you can follow yourself.
- 1Define a real start
Write one sentence that says what a real start looks like, with a deadline.
- For a course, it could be finishing module 1 and reporting back within 14 days.
- For a challenge, it could be logging in and starting the evaluation within 14 days.
- 2Welcome each customer on day 0
Send each new customer a personal welcome and ask up to 5 questions. Your AI chat may draft it, and a person sends it.
- Keep one question that picks the first step. For example, ask which part of the course or rules they are least sure about.
- Keep one question about their own idea of success. For example, ask what they want to be able to do by day 30.
- 3Draft one first step on day 1
Paste each customer's answers and your offer summary into your AI chat. Ask for exactly one first step. Someone given 3 options often picks none.
- The draft names the step and says why it fits. It says what setup it needs and what they see when it works.
- Ask for plain language under 120 words, with no promised results and no trade ideas.
- Try the prompt on your last 5 customers first. Check that you would pick the same step for each.
- 4Approve and send it yourself
A person reads each draft before it goes out. They send it personally, on a channel the customer agreed to.
- When a step does not fit the customer, fix it and add that case to the prompt as an example.
- Give a date to do it by, such as a live session on day 3 or its replay. Log the step and the date.
- Any email shows one short path to that step and nothing else.
- 5Check in on day 7
Review the stalled list and message everyone with no progress on their step. Do not wait for day 14.
- Your AI chat drafts a short personal check-in for each. A person reviews and sends it.
- The check-in asks what got in the way and offers the likely fix, such as a login that failed. It asks one question and puts no guilt on them.
- If they stay silent after that one message, flag them for a person to follow up.
- 6Record real starts on day 14
Ask each customer for a number from the step itself, such as lessons finished or practice sessions logged. Mark who made a real start, and review the stalled list again.
- Never ask for profit figures, and never count posts, reactions or views.
- If fewer than half started by the deadline, fix the first step before you change your marketing.
- 7Look back on day 30
Compare where each customer stands with their day 0 answers. Ask for a testimonial in their own words, based on their success answer.
- Keep it to what they learned or can now do, with no profit or income claims.
- Use it only with their permission and your compliance sign-off where it applies.
