Find the few communities where your traders talk
You know traders talk online, but not where, or what gets you banned there. This recipe searches Reddit, public Facebook groups, Discord's directory and public Telegram channels. You get the 5 places worth a presence, ranked, with each one's rules and ban triggers.
01Yield
What one run makes.
One run gives you a ranked list of 5 communities. Each one shows its size, audience signal, rules, what works, what to avoid and the person assigned to it. You approve the list before anyone joins or posts.
02Ingredients
What you bring.
- Places your team is already active in
- Places your rivals post in
- Places traders name in your reviews
- Seed keywords your traders use
- A person to work each place you pick
03Equipment
What the run uses.
- A subreddit search and reader
- Readers for public Facebook groups and Telegram channels
- Discord's public server directory search
- Your AI chat
- A spreadsheet
04Method
Six steps you can follow yourself.
- 1Start with what you know
List the places your team is already active in. Add the places your rivals post in and the places traders name in your reviews.
- 2Search for more candidates
Search Reddit, Facebook, Discord and Telegram with the keywords your traders use.
- Find subreddits by keyword, such as prop firm, funded account or forex. Note each one's members, description and rules.
- Add public Facebook groups with new posts on your topic. For Telegram, add public channels and note their latest posts and views.
- The tools can only search Discord's public server directory, so a person joins each server and reads it.
- 3Fill 5 fields for each place
Paste what you read about each place into your AI chat. Ask it to fill 5 fields from that text.
- The 5 fields are size, audience signal, engagement rules, what works and what to avoid. Audience signal is high, medium or low, by how many of your ideal traders are there.
- What works needs one linked recent example. What to avoid names the ban triggers and the posts that get no replies.
- Add posts per week, who works the place and the date checked.
- 4Check the rules for your business
Read each place's rules for promotion limits and any ban on AI-written text. Where AI text is banned, an AI draft pasted by a person still counts as AI-written.
- Before any top-level post in a finance subreddit, write to its moderators.
- Stay out of rivals' own subreddits as a vendor.
- 5Rank and pick 5
Keep 6 to 8 candidates at most. Rank them by audience signal first, then activity, then size. Pick the 5 worth a presence.
- A small, busy place full of your traders ranks above a huge place with few of them.
- 6Approve and assign the 5 places
Approve the 5 places, and name who works each one. Each place gets a person, or an agent that drafts for a person.
- Plan the first 3 moves in each place. Usually that means reading for a week, commenting helpfully, then posting once the account has a history.
- The tools cannot post in any of these places, so a person always posts, by hand.
