Build a messaging sheet from your traders' own words
What traders say about you is spread across tickets, calls, reviews, Reddit and comments. Nobody has time to read it all, so your pages get written from memory. This recipe gathers it into one sheet in their own words, with every quote traced to its source.
01Yield
What one run makes.
One run fills a messaging sheet with groups of pain points, desired outcomes, objections and repeated phrases. Each group shows how many items support it, with linked quotes. You also get 5 hooks built from trader phrases, and you approve both before use.
02Ingredients
What you bring.
- Your brand and 3 to 5 competitors traders compare you with
- Support tickets, survey answers and call transcripts
- Messages from your own community
- The review sites your traders use
- A minimum number of items before a group counts
03Equipment
What the run uses.
- A scraper for public comments and reviews
- A Reddit reader that keeps full comment trees
- Your AI chat
- A spreadsheet or doc for the sheet
04Method
Seven steps you can follow yourself.
- 1Pick the brands to study
List your own brand and 3 to 5 competitors your traders already compare you with. This works even with few customers, because you also read what your competitors' customers say.
- 2Collect comments, threads and reviews
For each brand, collect what traders say in public. Stay within each platform's terms.
- Take the comments on each brand's top 10 posts on every channel it uses. That could be YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Add Reddit threads that mention the brand or the category, with full comment trees.
- Add reviews from places such as Trustpilot, Google Maps, Facebook Pages and app stores.
- 3Add your own sources
Add your support tickets, survey answers, call transcripts and community messages.
- For every item, public or your own, keep only the quote, where it came from and its date.
- Leave out names, profile details, emails and account numbers.
- 4Group the items with your AI chat
Paste all the items into your AI chat with this prompt.
- "Group these items into pain points, desired outcomes, objections and repeated phrases, each with a one-line summary. Say how many items support each group, and add its 3 strongest direct quotes with their links. Do not paraphrase quotes, and add nothing that is not in the items."
- 5Check the counts and every quote
Read the AI's groups before you use any of them. Drop any group with fewer items than your minimum, so one loud source does not become a pattern.
- Check every quote word for word against its source, and delete any that do not match.
- Then make sure the groups match what you hear from your traders.
- 6Build the sheet and write 5 hooks
Put each group into the messaging sheet with its strongest quotes and how often it appeared. Then ask your AI chat for 5 hooks that reuse your traders' own phrases.
- Ask it to mark which quote each hook came from.
- Hooks name a problem or a lesson and never promise profits, payouts or funding.
- 7Approve the sheet and refresh monthly
Approve the sheet and the hooks yourself before anything is used. Save only the approved parts to your notes on pain points, objections and audience.
- Write your website and offer copy from those notes.
- Run the whole recipe again every month.
